Beaded Hermit Crabs are not toys; however, a child can carefully hold them. Crab legs and pinchers are moveable but trying to switch their positions or twisting the wire will break. If you plan to pack them, I recommend keeping them in the box they were shipped in. Additionally, there are potential pokey parts, I try to squeeze everybody's feet together but just in case, please be careful.
